About Diana Kemp

Toronto native Diana Kemp is a multiple award-winning screenwriter and author with one hundred and thirty film festivals and screenwriting competition awards/placings to her credit. She is the co-writer of an NRL (Naval Research Lab) documentary (http://www.nrl.navy.mil/media/videos/nrl-extended-video) produced by David Bellino of Second Wind Films.

Graduating with honors from Cal State Long Beach, she began a writing career at the age of seven that culminated in a diversely prolific collection of science fiction, horror and fantasy short stories, numerous short and feature screenplays and three science fiction novels, two of which include The Samsara Chronicles co-authored with Gabriella Bradley.

In addition to serving as Executive Producer and Producer on a variety of projects with Michael Gianfriddo, her credits include Blink Black Ops (http://pro.imdb.com/title/tt2083939/) and her 3-D science fiction show, Trapezoid, (http://pro.imdb.com/title/tt2160425/), which is in pre-production.

Diana founded Shadowland Productions and Edge Media with producing partner Michael Gianfriddo and holds positions as CEO and Chairman in addition to serving as an executive for Dominant Entertainment. She oversees all development, production and management for each company.

She is represented by industry veteran Sherry Robb of the Robb Entertainment Group.

About Gabriella Bradley

Gabriella Bradley lives amidst rugged mountains. She more than often has a grizzly in her backyard searching for food. Other critters that visit on a regular basis are cougars, coyotes, squirrels, raccoons.

She has been a writer all of her life, though only ventured into erotic works in 2003. The Samsara Chronicles was born through psychic channeling. Many of the scenes in these books were inspired by David—possibly a writer during his life, a guide from beyond that visited Gabby. During the course of his visits, he told her to involve Diana.

Gabby’s hobbies include hiking, gardening, swimming, sewing, embroidery. Favorite movies are old timers like Gone with the Wind, Spartacus etc. Favorite music is Abba. Besides all that, she owns and directs a busy company and its staff.

Book Review:

            Aislinn and Dylan are trapped on Klatria momentarily, but they escape with the help of and with the people of the resistance.  Once back on Nirvana they realize that their future has is just getting started.  Aislinn and Dylan, together with the peoples brought from earth, prepare to return to earth to restore and re-inhabit the land. 

            I love the direction this series takes in this last book.  While I will miss these stories, now I love the ending (although they could easily continue for another series.)  I give part 14 of the Samsara Chronicles 4 out of 5 clouds.

About the Author:

Jacqueline Battisti was raised in Little Falls, New York where she met and married her high school sweetheart. They have two children and live near Rochester, New York where she is a stay at home mom and writer of the paranormal and urban fantasy of her vivid imagination.

Her first novel, The Guardian of Bastet, is being published by Carina Press August 20, 2012. She is currently working on a sequel as well as a dystopian paranormal.

Her life has taken her from the trials and tribulations of working as an administrative assistant at various companies, back to college as an adult student, and then into the adventurous world of motherhood.

Like a good girl, I try to say my prayers every morning. This morning was no exception.

“Goddess, it’s me, Trinity Morrigan-Caine. Could you please let me get through today without pissing off too many people or wanting to kill anyone? And would you please grant me patience for the idiots I meet and guidance to keep my mouth shut when they say something really freakin’ stupid? Thank you.”

Afterward, I felt better. Today was just one of those days. I slept through the alarm. My familiar, a longhaired Birman feline named Bronwyn, had to wake me up and there is nothing like being swatted in the face with a clawed paw first thing in the morning. I showered and then realized I had no clean work scrubs. Crap. I put on already worn scrubs which didn’t smell too bad. The only brightness of the morning was my cousin and roommate, Lily, had made a pot of coffee and saved me some before she left for work—and probably on time, of course.

Once again, I was late and I knew my boss was going to have kittens because of it. Okay, not literally, although the thought of that made me giggle aloud. No, I was the one who turned into a furry feline once a month. She was just a human pain in my ass.

I grabbed the travel mug and took a swig of the coffee I had heated up before leaving. I didn’t even care I burned my lips on the brew. I let out a deep sigh. Ah coffee, the elixir of gods and humans. There was just nothing better than the jolt of caffeine to wake up to. I drove to work whistling.

Book Review:

            So you would think that the child of a hugely powerful witch and a puma shifter would be super powerful, right?  Apparently not since Trinity couldn’t seem to cast a spell without a major mishap and her shift was to a tiny housecat.. not exactly ferocious.  Her spell casting was so bad that when she turned 16, her mother gave up trying to teach her.  The only person who continued to believe in her and her abilities was the vampire, Vincent; even Trinity doesn’t believe until Vincent is murdered and she is the only one who can save the rest of her people.

            This book is so fast paced I couldn’t put it down.  I loved the story line and the whole idea of different paranormals joining to form a coven, even if it isn’t the norm because it works for their area.

            I give this book 4.5 out of 5 clouds.

Last night she’d had the dream again.  The dream she hated and loved.  She smelled the sea brine and the sharp pines that rose beyond the dunes, saw the tide-pool anemones open and close about their viscous centers.  She felt the heat move from her soles up through her calves to her thighs and pelvis and the small of her back from the sun baked sand; felt the melting begin.  Her nipples tightened.  She heard the waves slide and suck, in and out, insinuating, hypnotic.  And as shockingly as always the green-eyed, gypsy-faced stranger burst – jogging, grinning with knowing primal energy – through the tall grass at the top of the rise.  And as always, that energy struck her like a blow: sudden, deep, forever.  Jason.  Jason Archer.

Book Review:

            A more modern take on the classic love story, this story shows the gritty underbelly of life on a Hollywood production.  While the classic love story bones are present, the story is both disturbing and romantic. 

            I didn’t care much for parts of the story where there were side stories that never really seemed to get resolved, such as the sister and with some of the minor story plots.  Overall, the story was good.

            I give this story 3 out of 5 clouds.
