Blurb for Disappear:

undercover as an FBI agent to infiltrate a crime organization and discover the
identity of a hit man, Tyler Beckett’s cover is blown. Tyler’s new assignment

he didn’t find her so attractive. Each day it becomes harder to keep his
objective, especially since he knows the interest is mutual.
Keira Cavanaugh
is the only witness to a hit ordered by a crime boss. The safe house is
compromised and the same hit man shoots Tyler. Fearing Tyler is dead, Keira
plans revenge on the crime organization. She must fake her own suicide in order
to survive.
When Tyler discovers
what Keira plans, he realizes he must stop her before he loses her for good.

Book Review:
Okay, I admit it; I’m a sucker for a
good love story. Throw in a mystery and
a good story line and I’m completely sold.
And Disappear has it all. Hunky
hot men (yes men), although this story focuses on Tyler. We get to meet Gabe, Tyler’s best friend and
partner, and darling NY city detective David.
Gabe is the focus of book two, and I’m sure David will turn up again.
But back to Tyler: tall, very tall; curly
hair, just a little long so it curls charmingly at his neck begging for hands
to run through it; buff, think Hugh Jackman from X-Men; and gorgeous green eyes,
warm, caring, emerald. Ymm, yep I could
look at that all day.
And then there is Kiera, the love
interest. She witnesses a crime and he
gets to protect her. Yeah, let’s call it
that… wink, wink. Okay he really does
protect her but it’s love at first sight for both of them. She is lovely, with hair like warm firelight,
curves in all the right places, tall (okay I’m biased because she is close to
my height and I love a tall heroine.)
Anyway, love doesn’t run smooth…. Of course that could be because they
are running for their lives. But luckily
it’s a romance so you get happily ever after… or at least until the next
book. Although the love lasts forever.
I give this book 4.5 out of 5. Not a standard romance, the story is way too
good for that. A must read.

ReplyDeleteA must read for anyone who likes a good mystery. Nothing wrong with bit of romance tossed in to keep things lively. 5 of 5 in star department. Thanks for hosting a great writer.
ReplyDeleteJake. I couldn't decide if I should call it a mystery or a romance since it had so much of both, but being the girly girl I am, I just had to side with the romance. :)
DeleteThanks Jake! I'm excited you like it.
ReplyDeleteThanks to all who dropped by to read my review.
