Review

I have read a lot of self-help type of books as I have worked in the social services field for many years.  They tend to be rather dry, however you can often garner a lot of helpful information from them.  I specifically asked to review this book because I was interested in the topic.  I found the book informative, but often felt as though I was reading a textbook.  I appreciate this in a self-help book as what I want is specific details and a how-to type guide.  However, it can be rather dull.

This book is full of excellent ideas and helpful, specific, Christian based advice.  It is written in a chatty tone, and does exactly what the description says it does.  It is not a book that you sit down and read all in one sitting; it is definitely worth the read.

I give this book 3.5 out of 5 clouds.
